At one of the few official crossings along the rural central border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, Haitians illegally sell gasoline to passing vehicles in the no man's land between the two nations. In many places, a yellow concrete marker is the only sign of the divide between the two nations which share the island of Hispaniola.
