Anticipation - Eager children strain for a look at the milk they will soon be drinking at a school in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has donated 11 million pounds of surplus dry milk to be distributed in the Caribbean and Central America by Food For The Poor, Inc., a Florida-based charity. The milk will serve to ease the hunger and improve the learning of young, poor students who regularly come to school with empty stomachs.
