Faithful Toil - Undeterred by swooping vultures who fight people for what scraps they find, Jose Arita sifts through refuse at a garbage dump outside San Pedro Sula, Honduras. On Sundays, this poor assistant pastor gives sermons at his church, but every other day of the week he works at the dump. Arita calls this work a blessing. "I can get enough to feed my family rice and beans. Living like this, having to dig in garbage does not shake my faith because even though I must come to the dump, my Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ. When I get the chance to share the Gospel with others here at the dump, that's a blessing from God," he says.
