Emotional Moment - With tears welling up in his eyes, Chris Thomas, 18, who graduated from high school with a 4.24 GPA, takes a moment to thank God during commencement. Despite growing up without a father, Thomas bucked the trend of drugs and violence that befalls many of Dunbar's youth. In the fall, Thomas will head off to college. After college, he isn't sure if he will return to Dunbar.
